Extra-thin cutting discs feature a small friction area. This facilitates quick and cool cutting.
Blue discolouration on the workpiece can thus be reduced. Furthermore, cutting with little bur saves cumbersome rework.

Special fillers prevent the disc from clogging

Aluminium dust is very fine and can accumulate in the angle grinder – in spite of extraction ­ and destroy it. Air grinders are less sensitive to dust. If you are cutting aluminium with an electrical angle grinder you can cut dust development in half by using a thin aluminium cutting disc. Clean the angle grinder with compressed-air after each operation. Extraction is mandatory in closed rooms since aluminium dust with high concentration may cause explosions.
